Working on a joint project between Angus and Abertay Housing Associations, you will support the Associations with their preparations for Universal Credit. You will work with and assist tenants who are to be affected by the reforms providing information and guidance to prevent tenancy failure.
EVH Grade 7 (£30,410 - £33,392 pro rata) - 20.5 hours per week over 3 days
Plus Essential Car User allowance
Working out of the Angus Housing Association Dundee office, you will identify, contact and visit residents across Dundee and Angus at risk of the changes and support people through the transition. You will be committed to the importance of promoting financial well being and have an ability to communicate well to be able to deliver your message with authority and compassion.
You should ideally have a demonstrable experience of working in the advice sector, providing budgeting and money advice to individuals and have a good sound knowledge of rent income collection in the social housing sector.
This post is funded through the Scottish Legal Aid Boards Making Advice Work programme and will be offered on a fixed term contract basis which will end on 30 September 2016.
