We are looking to recruit for the following exciting new post;
Angus Housing Association is a social landlord working in Angus and Dundee with over 2000 homes in management and providing factoring services for a further 600 owners. The Association is run by a voluntary Management Committee and employs around 50 staff.
With a substantial new build programme, the Association continues to grow and in order to do so require to recruit a Capital Works Manager to manage our New Build Development and Capital Works including overseeing our procurement and Clerk of Works functions. Working with the Director of Asset Management and the team, this post presents an opportunity to the right individual to make a strong commitment delivering high quality housing and to providing added value to the communities in which we work.
Qualified to a minimum of CiH level 4 or with a relevant construction qualification, you should have a proven track record of managing capital contracts and/or new build housing. You should also have experience of leading teams. You should possess an awareness of the issues facing the social housing sector and demonstrate excellent time management, resource planning and project management abilities.
