Repairs and Maintenance

The repairs we will undertake and the target timescales are set out in your Statement of Factoring Services.

The Association will carry out repairs and maintenance to the common parts of the property such as common roofs and close areas. The Association will carry out routine inspections of the tenement/block in which the Property is located at least annually.

For emergency out of hours repairs, the Owner should contact the Association’s emergency repair contractor. The current contractor is Dundee Contract Services, tel: 01382 434343. This service is for common emergency repairs only.

N.B An emergency repair is where work is required urgently to prevent damage or in the interests of health and safety and there is insufficient time to follow the normal reporting procedures.

Common Landscaping

This will include where appropriate cutting grass areas, weed killing to hard landscaped areas, root treatments, maintenance of all shrubbed areas, removal of grass cuttings and fallen leaves, annual inspection of all trees and a litter pick before every maintenance visit.
