Gail joined the Association in 2019 and has worked in the Social Housing sector since graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing Studies from Stirling University in 1996. Gail’s undergraduate Degree is in Applied Consumer Studies from Queen Margaret College. Gail is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and sits on their Professional Standards Committee.
In 2021 Gail completed a Diploma in Corporate Governance with the Corporate Governance Institute and is a student member of the Chartered Managers Institute.
As CEO, Gail’s key responsibilities are to deliver the Association’s strategic vision, promote the Associations continued growth, drive change and actively promote the Association’s values to ensure the Association adds values to the Communities in which it operates. Key to achieving this is advising, supporting and being accountable to the Board of Management for overall strategic development, risk management, governance, operational activities, resource planning, staff management and Association performance.
Gail is a Board Trustee of Grampian Women’s Aid and holds the position of Vice Chair.
Arlene has worked for the Association since 2014 and has worked within the Social Housing Sector for 20 years.
Arlene qualified from Aberdeen University in 1989 with a Degree in Accountancy incorporating Economics, Business Law and Statistics. Arlene is a fully qualified Accountant and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Arlene has the responsibility for ensuring the financial health of the Association including Financial Reporting to statutory and regulatory bodies along with internal reporting to the Board of Management, Business Planning and Budgeting and Treasury Management.
The Association’s IT operations also falls within Arlene’s remit.
Linlay joined the Assocation in 2008 having previously worked locally for Scottish Homes and Abertay Housing Association.
Linlay has a Diploma in Housing from De Montford University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. As Director of Housing Linlay oversees the provision of all the Housing and Customers Services functions including Financial Inclusion and Tenant Engagement. This includes ensuing compliance with legislation and the principles of the Scottish Social Housing Charter.
Linlay is the Association's Equalities champion, promoting good practice in Equalities and Diversity.
Alison joined the Association in January 2022 having worked for both Angus Council and Dundee City Council in Housing Strategy and Capital Programmes delivery.
Alison graduated from Abertay University with a BA Degree in Social Sciences with Management and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Housing Studies from Stirling University. Alison is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Alison delivers the Association’s Reactive and Planned Maintenance programmes including the delivery of EESSH2 objectives. Our ambitious new build programme which will see us deliver several hundred new build units in Angus and Dundee over the next 5 years sits within Alison’s remit and is a key deliverable of the Association’s Strategic Plan.
