Finance Modern Apprentice

Angus Housing Association is a key provider of affordable housing to rent in Dundee and Angus. We have offices in Arbroath and Dundee from which we manage over 2,200 houses.

We are looking to recruit for the following post;

Finance Modern Apprentice

35 hours per week

Location – 93 High Street Arbroath (Plans to relocate to Ethiebeaton Park, Monifieth 2027)

Salary – £24,497 per annum

Fixed Term Contract – 2 Years

You will gain hands-on experience across a range of finance activities, from processing transactions and reconciling accounts to supporting budget monitoring and payment administration. Working closely with both the finance and wider resources team, you’ll play an important role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while building valuable practical skills.

Applicants must be between 16 – 24 years old to be eligible for a Modern Apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on financial and administrative experience while studying for an accredited qualification in Accountancy (SCQF Level 6) in partnership with Dundee and Angus College, commencing September 2026. Employee would gain AAT Certificate in Accounting which covers Introduction to Bookkeeping Controls and Costing.

This post is based at 93 High Street, Arbroath, DD11 1DP, though placements may be asked to attend events in our Dundee office. Please note the Association has plans to relocate from Arbroath office to new office in Ethiebeaton Park, Monifieth, Dundee DD5 4HB during 2027.
