A Warm Welcome and Best Wishes

Angus Housing Association is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Director of Finance and Corporate Services to their senior management team.

The appointment follows confirmation that Arlene Grant, the Association’s current Director of Finance and Corporate Services, will step down from the role after 12 years of dedicated service.

Throughout her tenure, Arlene has made a significant contribution to the Association, providing strong financial leadership, strategic direction, and unwavering commitment. Her guidance has been central to our organisation’s stability and success, and she leaves behind a lasting legacy.

We are delighted to welcome Angela Murphy as our new Director of Finance and Corporate Services. With over 18 years’ experience within the social housing sector, she brings with her extensive finance and strategic leadership experience. Angela will lead on the Association’s financial and treasury management strategy, IT, corporate services, governance compliance, driving business improvement across the organisation.

Angela commented on her new role:

“It is a privilege to take on the Director of Finance and Corporate position following the retirement of such a respected leader. I’m grateful for the solid financial stewardship they’ve provided and look forward to building on the strong financial framework already in place and helping the organisation through  its next phase of strategic growth, working with the team to develop and implement the financial and treasury management plans which are integral to delivering Angus’s business strategy to increase the supply of new quality affordable housing and delivering sustainable investment plans for Angus’ existing homes”.
