Benefits if you are sick, or disabled

Adult Disability Payment

The Adult Disability Payment is a benefit for disabled working-age adults who live in Scotland. It’s to help with the extra costs of being disabled or having a long-term health condition.

It’s paid by Social Security Scotland.

Adult Disability Payment is made up of 2 parts :

  1. Daily Living
  2. Mobility

You may qualify for one or both parts.

The amount you get depends on how your condition affects your ability to do everyday activities and get around.

It does not matter if you’re working or not. Your income and savings are not taken into account.
