Meet our New Board

The Association would like to give thanks and acknowledge the dedication and expertise Jimmy Black has given in his role of Board Chair since 2023.  Jimmy is stepping down from his role as Chair and Board member to focus on supporting the needs of the Strathmartine community in Dundee where he serves as a Councillor.

We would like to welcome our new Chair, Craig Irvine, who has been Vice Chair since 2023.

Craig joined the Board in August 2022, following his retirement in March that year. Craig had worked at Michelin in Dundee for 35 years in Management and Production  He then latterly  went to work for Dundee Council for procurement and distribution during Covid until he retired in March 2022.  Members of the Whitfield Community may recognise Craig for his involvement in the “You Are Not Alone” community support group based at the Dundee Office.

Sean comes with a wealth of knowledge in the financial sector, having worked in Banking since leaving school. He has worked in various roles over his career span from in branch to latterly Commercial banking. Sean’s current role is based in Dundee as one of 6 Commercial Relationship Managers.
