Official Opening of the New Ormiston Play Park

A fantastic day at the official opening of the new Ormiston Play Park!

Last Saturday, local children and families came together to celebrate the official opening of the newly upgraded Ormiston Play Park, and what a great day it was!

The park was full of laughter and excitement as kids enjoyed the new play equipment and took part in Easter-themed activities and sports games.

We were delighted to welcome Dr Bike @DundeeCycleHub , who offered free bike safety checks throughout the day—helping families get ready for safe cycling fun.

It was also great to have a visit from the Fire Brigade, who took the time to chat with families and let children explore the fire engine, making the day even more memorable.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. The new play park is already proving to be a fantastic space for the community to come together, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

We are extremely grateful for the funding received from Dundee City Council’s Neighbourhood Regeneration Fund. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for the funding to be allocated to the Ormiston Play Park. Your support has helped create a fantastic space for children and families to enjoy for years to come.
