The development was officially opened in September by new tenant Maureen Campbell.

Maureen, her Husband Hamish, daughter Ellamae and son Erik are delighted with their new home. The family have been waiting a number of years for a suitable wheelchair adapted property for Erick, their adult son who is severely disabled and requires constant care.

Maureen stated :-

I am absolutely over the moon with my new home; it really is life changing for me and my family. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and we can all now feel relaxed and settled in our home. The layout of the property and specially adapted shower room will make caring for Erik much easier as there are no more stairs to struggle with. The standard of the home is excellent, and I want to thank everyone at Angus Housing Association and Scotia Homes”.

The event brought together new tenants, colleagues, representatives from Angus CouncilStephen Milne Site Manager from Scotia HomesMartin Shepherd local SNP Cllrs (pictured together in opposite top photo), local community representatives to celebrate this milestone and to witness the positive impact it has had on the local area.
