When you contact us, our Customer Service Team will:

 

  • Ask your name, Address and telephone number
  • Help you to fully describe the repair
  • Tell you if we are responsible for the repair, or if you may be recharged for the cost of the repair
  • Advise you of the timescales for when the work will be inspected or carried out
  • Agree a convenient time to carry out the repair

 

 

Repair Response Times

 

We will carry out:

 

Emergency Repairs – within 3 Hours

These repairs refer to situations where there is a serious risk to the safety of the tenant and/or to prevent serious damage to the property.

Examples are:  Fire damage, dangerous electrical faults, flooding, gas leak, break in, no heating or hot water, blocked sink, blocked toilet (if it’s the only toilet in the house), total power failure.

Urgent repairs within – 24 hours

Urgent repairs are those that need to be addressed quickly to prevent further damage or risk to safety, but are not as dangerous as emergency repairs.

Examples include minor leaks, faulty electrical fittings and damage to flooring.

Essential Repairs – within 3 working days

These are repairs that don’t pose immediate risks but still need attention, like minor plumbing or electrical problems.

Routine repairs – within 20 working days

These are general maintenance repairs that don’t pose any threat to the tenant’s health or safety.
