Finding a Home

How do I apply for a home?                                               

All properties excluding our specially adapted wheelchair property will be advertised and allocated via our Choice Based Letting system, These Homes.

Our properties are located in a range of communities including Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Monifieth, Montrose, Auchmithie and Dundee. Please click on our Properties Map for more information on the areas we cover and the types of properties available.

Rent Payments

How do I pay my rent?


Rent can be paid through a range of methods, including online through the Tenant Portal

What should I do if I am struggling to pay my rent? 

Contact our Financial Inclusion Team as soon as possible. They can provide advice on benefits, budgeting and financial support. 

Repairs and Maintenance 

How do I report a repair? 

Please refer to our Report a Repair webpage for further information on the various methods available for reporting repairs, including emergency repairs.

 

Can I make Alterations to my Home?

Some alterations may require written permission before work begins. Contact us to discuss your plans. You can download an Alterations & Permissions form from the website Downloads – Angus Housing Association

The Tenant Portal provides secure online access to tenancy services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

What can I do on the Tenant Portal?

You can:

How do I register for the Tenant Portal?

How do I update my contact details?

You can update your details through the Tenant Portal or by contacting us directly. 

What happens if my circumstances change?

Please let us know as soon as possible so we can ensure our records are up to date and offer any support you may need.

How do I report antisocial behaviour?

Do you offer translation services?

Yes. We can provide translation support and translated documents to help ensure everyone can access our services. 

Angus Housing Association uses Happy to Translate to help tenants and customers who speak little or no English. We can also arrange for letters, documents and leaflets to be translated into most languages. If you need information in another language or require an interpreter, please contact our team and we will be happy to help.
